Turkey Bowl - Sunday, November 28th at 1PM. Encounter Youth's Turkey Bowl is back!
Bring a team or get put on a team when you arrive. Teams of 8.

Ladies Coffee - Saturday, December 3rd at 8AM. Our ladies ministry will be meeting at aPlayCafe in Duncanville this month for fellowship.
Deck the Halls - Saturday, December 3rd at 1PM. It that wonderful time of the year! We will be decorating the entire church for Christmas! This will be a fun family event. His Kids and Encounter Youth will also be decorating their respected areas! We will also have cookies and hot cocoa.
Sleigh the 5K - Saturday, December 10th at 9AM. Encounter Youth will be hosting a 5k to raise money for Speed the Light. The cost is $25 and will be held at Armstrong Park (Kidsville). Sign up here.
Waxahachie Christmas Tour of Homes - Saturday, December 10th at 2PM. Our ladies ministry will be heading to Waxahachie for some holiday fun! Contact Barbara Elliot for more information. Sign up here.
Christmas Blessing - Sunday, December 18th - Patrick and Audrey Washburn are planting Heart Church in Stockdale Texas. They recently left their full-time ministry position in Austin, sold their home and moved to Patrick's hometown of Stockdale with a population under 1500. They have a heart for the rural church. They have an 18 month old son. They plan to launch Heart Church in early 2023. Please pick up a card from the boards in the lobby. Each card has household or grocery items on them. The cards in the solid gold envelopes are gifts for their son. Bring the items back during any service between now and Wednesday Dec. 14th.

TESTIFY! - God is moving in peoples lives and we want to hear about it! If you have a testimony about what God is doing throughout the year, fill out a card in the lobby or share with us on the Crossroads app.

Scripture: I Thess. 5:18- Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. (NIV)
Prayer: Lord, may my life be a continual example of thankfulness to you.
Action Steps:
1. Start your day with thankfulness to God.
2. Everyday this month write down one new thing that you are thankful to God for.
3. Make an effort to express thankfulness to each person who is a significant part of your life.
